Scorpions

Scorpions are a heavy metal / hard rock band from Hannover, Germany, probably best known for their 1980s rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and their singles "No One Like You", "Send Me an Angel, "Still Loving You", and "Wind of Change". The band has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, and they were ranked #46 on VH1's Greatest Artists of Hard Rock program. "Rock You Like a Hurricane" is also #18 on VH1's list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs. After 45 years of performing, the band continues to tour and record music. On January 24, 2010, the band announced that they will be retiring after touring in support of their forthcoming album Sting in the Tail.

An amazing band. They are deffinately a trademark of the 80s, but it isn't the powerchords and hard solos I love about them. It's the ballads <3

Ballads were huge in the late 70s into the 80s. Many hard rockers wanted to show the soft side of the lives they lived, so they composed rock songs with a clean, ambient pattern. Here is one by Scorpions.

Ah, good old "Send me an Angel" That is a rock ballad at its best.

however there are much better. Like White Lion's "When the Children Cry" when it was first played live, there wasnt a single dry eye or panty in the audience.

Mine probably would of been dry. .-. I can't enjoy music with a lot of people around..

Sadly, all I have heard of them was on Guitar Hero.....

You should look some other songs if theirs up. They are very good

Seriously dude, if you haven't even heard of the Scorpion's songs you should go on a listening spree.

Rock You Like a Hurricane was one of my favs from them. Good band.

Awesome band, I would loved to have see them live.
