    I only heard a song from the yard birds, and maybe some by himself cause Erik relaly likes him..

    I personally prefered him with Cream. They were the Dream Team of rock. Strange Brew, Sunshine of your love, White Room, ect. Genius work.

    I have to say The Yardbirds. Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page AND Eric clapton. Some of my favorite musicians in a single package. Also, the style is changed and varries from song to song, so you never get board with them. A toast to the 60s.

    Agreed. He accomplished more with The Yardbirds but the underrated-ness of the yardbirds shows his true colors. Live on Clapton!!

    If you listen to Let it Grow - Eric Clapton in his later years, you can kinda hear the main chord progression is similar to stairway to heaven. Obviously he got the inspiration from Page, even though HE got his inspiration for the song, from Taurus, in the 70s.
